THE VERSATILITY OF THE STEEL PAN

I have looking for this tune since the summer of 1992 when I first heard it in New-York's FM. I subsequently bought the CD and naively lent it out never to see it again. Thanks to the Internet I have been able to track it down and listen to this particular tune which was my favourite on the Album. This CD opened my ears to the versatility of the Steel Pan. You might prove me wrong by getting a different vibe (and that's allowed). but this definitely takes me back to the summer of 1992.

Can you imagine in your minds ear a mix of the Steel Pan with raw Kpanlogo, a rendition alongside an Agya Koo Nimo, Dela Botri's Hewale Sounds (that will be interesting)...
